Intercultural Institute launches online course to the teachers of civic culture:
Project Citizen / Citizen Project: Civic Education Course Online Advanced
The course is free and is part of activities in Romania in the framework of CIVITAS International.
Course topics include subjects that meet the needs identified in Project Citizen and the implementation method to improve the quality of teaching civic education.
Conditions for participation:
Ø To teach this year at secondary school civic culture (whatever the basic specialization)
Ø Have participated in basic training in using Method Project Citizen / Citizen Project Previous years;
Ø Method applied to Project Citizen / Citizen Project in class at least once;
Ø Method was applied at least one class this school year.
Estimated Duration:
Certification: Upon completion of the course (Successful completion of online modules and the method Project Citizen / Citizen Project) will receive a certificate from the Intercultural Institute confirming participation in the CIVITAS International. Participation in an international program recognized by the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports is the point evaluation of school teachers AND take.

Acceptance of the course will be held on February 5, 2010, by email at the address indicated.
After completion rate is flexible, adapted to learners, from February 5 to May 30, 2010.The course will be available on the Moodle platform type training Intercultural Institute.
Project Citizen (www.intercultural.ro / Citizen) is an innovative method of teaching civic education, based on a study of local community issues involving public policy and who is chosen for study by students.Implementation in Romania is made under a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Education, signed in 2004.
The course was designed to track key steps in the project, aimed at facilitating the project and teacher-student interactions and student-student.
